Transcript of the video lesson:
Hey, this is Joel from worldspanishteacher.com. I’m going to keep this lesson quick and just talk about a simple, yet useful word. The word is “cursi.”
Now, there are a few different meanings for this word, but I’m going to talk about the meaning I think is the most useful… and that meaning is “corny.”
So, “cursi” is “corny.” Some examples would be:
“Lo que dijo Roberto es cursi” – “What Robert said is corny”
“La actividad que hizo la universidad era cursi” – “The activity that the university did was corny”
Well, I hope that this was helpful and now you have an extra word in your Spanish vocabulary. Don’t forget to check out my website worldspanishteacher.com for more lessons, my mp3 course, and native Spanish speakers who you can practice with. Thanks for watching.
